It is a good idea to oil the animal#s skin before clipping in order to reduce friction and provide a smoother shave. The Heiniger Clipper Oil comes in a bottle of 100ml and contains specially developed paraffin, non-toxic clipper oil. Applying this oil before clipping is known to increase performance and enhance blade life. In addition, it is known to preserve the clipping equipment. This oil suits all Heiniger clipping and shearing machines, as well as other brands.
