Unisan Plus Powder is available in a 20kg bucket. The economical powder detergent is energy saving as it can be used in a hot or cold wash. It comes in a powder form which is prilled meaning less dust. There is less corrosion from using it as it is not chlorinated. During a hot wash it descales but also acts as a steriliser. After milking all equipment should be cleaned and sterilised before the next milking. The purpose of cleaning is to remove milk soils, organic and mineral solids. The purpose of sanitising is to kill microorganisms on the surfaces. Failure to do both results in bacteria remaining on the equipment and multiplying. This results in elevated bacteria counts in milk. Always wear protective clothing and gloves when using Unisan Plus. The container is moisture proof and it is best to store it in a cool dry place. Always ensure the lid is closed after opening.
