Philmac Fittings are WRAS (Water regulations advisory scheme) approved and manufactured from high performance thermoplastic materials with outstanding impact, UV, chemical and corrosion resistance. They incorporate all the benefits of Philmac's Slide & Tighten technology. No pipe preparation or force is required to push the pipe past the seal, so installation is fast and simple. Just insert the required liner where applicable, then insert the pipe into the fitting, tighten the nut by hand first and then with a wrench. The Philmac fitting comes with a dynamic sealing method which means the nut thread compresses the seal into position, eliminating resistance when inserting the pipe into the fitting so there is no risk of seal distortion or displacement. The fitting of Philmac fittings is so quick and easy, that it can be done under live conditions.
